What’s blooming in April

Groundcover1350Sure, this photo could have been a close-up of those ‘Pink Diamond’ tulips but I’d rather show off one of the lawn-replacement plants in my back yard.  (Here’s the back story on the transformation.)  It’s all creeping sedum here but soon you’ll be seeing how the thymes and what-not are performing, and reviews of mazus and creeping Jenny, too.  We’re trialing here!

Check my own blog for more photos of blooming April in my garden.

  1. Katherine, I step on these a bit, as needed, and that’s not a problem. But it’s waaaay more than 5 plants. And even still, the overall effect has long way to go to fill in completely and look like lawn replacement. I’m counting on these creepers to creep like crazy.
