This was great, Christa! Beautifully written, and I think you perfectly echoed the awe that so many gardeners have about this whole business of growing things when you say: "I am awed to think that Cctomatosandwichjust moments ago, those peas were pulling sun from the sky and water from the depths of the earth." I've never put that awe into words, but you did it beautifully!

Lovely post, so reflective of all the magic in gardening. So glad you took that walk! And doubly glad you shared it with the Garden Rant readers.

Now I'm off to check out your blog (Exellent blog title, btw.)

Wow, that was wonderful! I wish somehow we in the gardening community could take that experience and multiply it by 100,000 - maybe then we wouldn't have so many environmental problems from unthinking people. Thanks for the reading and wishing experience.

Christa, although I've been reading your blog for a long time, enjoying your adventures in both garden and kitchen, this post has given us insight into the ways you've grown as a gardener. Thank you!
