Um, let me see...

Monsanto (I believe) makes RoundUp-Ready corn and soybeans, so that fields can be sprayed for weeds without hurting the crops.

Scotts is making RoundUp-Ready lawn grass, for the same reason.

Is anyone seeing the future train wreck I'm seeing? Involving a collision between escaped lawn grass and major crops?

Here I sit in the middle of Grass Seed Capital, U.S.A. and I wasn't even aware of this.
