What's blooming in April
Sure, this photo could have been a close-up of those 'Pink Diamond' tulips but I'd rather show off one of the lawn-replacement plants in my back yard. (Here's the back story on the transformation.) It's all creeping sedum here but soon you'll be seeing how the thymes and what-not are performing, and reviews of mazus and creeping Jenny, too. We're trialing here!
Check my own blog for more photos of blooming April in my garden.

Wow, this looks great. Have you had the nerve to step on them yet? Is that all from 5 plants?

Katherine, I step on these a bit, as needed, and that's not a problem. But it's waaaay more than 5 plants. And even still, the overall effect has long way to go to fill in completely and look like lawn replacement. I'm counting on these creepers to creep like crazy.
