Isn't it so disappointing when all of these efforts could have been kept right up in focus with some regular blog or website posts.

I just wonder sometimes if governments aren't 'too big to care' but more 'too being to operate?'

I live in France and it's amazing how all the small offices (whilst still over-bureaucratic) function so efficiently because everyone knows everyone else and are keen to see a job done.

Keep up the good work.

I can't say the word disappointment is the first word that springs to mind Mr. Voice. How bout YEEEE HAAWWWWWR! I'll take optimism and forward thinking anytime over disappointment and a "coulda, shoulda, woulda" approach. Thank you Susan for this excellent post and the work you do towards achieving sustainable lawn and garden in Washington DC and throughout the U.S.!

If you really want to green the grounds of government, you should read my book, "The Nature-friendly Garden". (The White House was sent a copy.) For more information, please go to www.MARLENECONDON.com

Cool news. Love it. Maybe someday we green green suburbia, or my zealous (or uninformed? stuck in a historical rut?) all-lawn-no-shrubs-or-trees neighbors.

And I'll have my camera crew ready to go on a moments notice if anyone there want's to showcase what they're really doing to green the grounds. Leadership by example is the story we love to tell and "Growing a Greener World" is standing by. We have an episode slot reserved. We're ready when you are. Nice job Susan for keeping up up to date.
