Greetings from Buffa10! We're touring the Little Summer Street gardens this am. These are, for the most part, small 19th century workmans' cottages.
Led by resident Ellie Dorritie (her house above), the entire block nurtures colorful, mixed gardens with lots of window boxes and hanging baskets.
Wish you were here!

Wish I was there, too !

I remember the Little Summer Street area of the Buffalo garden walk well! We actually encountered lines while touring this area as it is so popular. I do not 'do' lines well, but in this case it was worth it - the gardens and cottages are so lively and show a creative spirit unseen most anywhere else.
We're heading up from Northeast PA again this year for the weekend, and I am counting down the days!

It was amazing to me how many gorgeous lush plants gardeners managed to fit into these tiny (to me the country gardener) spaces. I am inspired.
