Oh, I once scoffed at the notion of a birdcam – until I followed the link to a new
commenter and found this photo.  And cam-owners John and Liza in New Hampshire say it's easy to set up, even if the temp hovers around zero (I say easy for them).  Here's the link.

  1. It really is a great product. This year the joegardener company ventured outside the confines of the gardening world to name it as one of the ten best new “gardening” products for 2009. We’ve been testing it for a while and love it. Easy to set up and fun to use. Sturdy and weather resistant too. The 3.1 mega pixel camera produces pleasing results as you see. It also can take video.

  2. I think this will be a wonderful addition to the bird watcher’s toolkit – perhaps takes away some of the challenge and excitement of point and shoot, but you can still do that too.

Thanks to Joe Lamp’l’s Twitter post, I checked out the company, ordered one for my wife and added the product to our web store.

We’ll start playing with it soon.

  3. Thanks Susan for the plug about our blog. Sure did create a lot of traffic. Unable to respond good because we are at our Florida home and the NH base computers are shut down. On dial up here not working to good, but we are working to improve it.

An interesting thing I noticed was so far there where no comments left.

    Thanks again,
